The Hanoi City Labor Federation and the Hanoi City Tax Department have signed a work coordination program for the period 2020 - 2025 and directed the Tax Department and Trade Union at the same level to sign a coordination program for implementation locally, with written instructions and guidance for implementation.
The program aims to gradually enhance the responsibility of agencies, units and enterprises in fulfilling their obligations to the State and Trade Union organizations, aiming to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers, contributing to the successful implementation of the city's socio-economic development tasks.
During the 4 years of cooperation, the two sides have promoted the dissemination and implementation of Tax Law and Trade Union Law to agencies, units and enterprises through various forms such as training on new documents and policies, through the tax authority's email system, through the one-stop department when enterprises come to make new establishment dossiers, through inspections at taxpayers' headquarters, etc.
In the coordination of information provision and exchange, the tax authority has provided the Trade Union with information on 73,369 newly established enterprises, enterprises temporarily suspending business operations, and enterprises ceasing operations; and 6,364 enterprises showing signs of violations. The Trade Union has provided the tax authority with information on units that have not paid the Trade Union fund, and units that have not paid the Trade Union fund.
