This is an important milestone, demonstrating the proactiveness of the Capital Trade Union in innovating the organization, improving operational efficiency and expanding the scope of legal rights and interests of workers.
Accordingly, the Commune and Ward Trade Unions will be established and directed by the City Labor Federation, operating according to the functions and tasks prescribed by the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; under the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the commune level, while promoting the initiative and creativity of the trade union organization (respective independence); having legal status, having a seal, and opening a separate account for operation.
The gathering subjects of the Commune and Ward Trade Unions are union members and workers working at grassroots trade unions, grassroots trade unions, units, organizations and enterprises that do not receive 100% of their salaries from the state budget; union members and workers who do not have labor relations with the same profession in the commune or ward to direct activities.
Based on the number of union members and grassroots unions, the local Party Committee will arrange full-time union officials to work at the Trade Unions of communes and wards under the payroll of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level.
