Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union - requested the 6 newly established grassroots trade unions in particular and the grassroots trade unions in general to actively take care of the material and spiritual life, grasp the aspirations of workers, especially during the upcoming Lunar New Year.
The six new grassroots trade unions were established by the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union, including: Miaki Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Phu Nghia Industrial Park and five companies in Quang Minh Industrial Park, including: Koganei Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Samko Vietnam Precision Engineering Co., Ltd.; HuHo Hardware Vietnam Import-Export Production Trading Co., Ltd.; Khanh Chuc Co., Ltd.; Hanoi Industrial Joint Stock Company.
The newly established grassroots trade union executive committees all affirmed that in the coming time, the grassroots trade unions will strive to perform well the functions and tasks of the trade union organization; focus on doing well some assigned tasks, closely following the resolutions of the higher-level trade unions to develop specific action programs...
Along with the Decision to establish the above 6 grassroots Trade Unions, the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union also issued a Decision to admit over 600 union members. Thus, up to this point, the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union has admitted 19,800/18,000 union member development targets in 2024.
