Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huy Khanh - Vice Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation - said that as a representative to protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, the Capital Trade Union always identifies the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene and Workers' Month as a key task in the annual work program.
The leaders of the City Labor Federation also suggested that the Capital's Trade Unions at all levels focus on effectively implementing a number of key tasks. In particular, thoroughly grasp and implement activities of the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene and the Month of Workers 2025 to all union members and workers with high determination, specific activities, practical content, and methods suitable to the situation of the industry, locality, and unit.
Focusing on taking care of and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of employees through the coordination of inspection, examination and supervision of the implementation of labor laws and policies and policies for workers; Advise with the Party Committee, coordinate with the same level of government and employers in contact, dialogue with union members and employees, thereby promptly capturing and resolving legitimate recommendations of workers; strengthening negotiation and signing activities of collective labor agreements; Proactively advise and propose to participate in building a harmonious, stable and progressive labor relationship in the business.
Proactively and actively coordinate with the government and the professional sector to organize for union members and workers to study and improve their professional qualifications; cultivate courage, innovate working style, improve integration skills while continuing to effectively implement the emulation movement to improve the qualifications, professional knowledge and skills of union members and workers.
Focus on implementing and creating a breakthrough in developing union members, establishing grassroots unions, especially in non-state enterprises and informal workers; pay attention to selecting and introducing outstanding union members for the Party Committee to train, consider admitting to the Communist Party of Vietnam, and pay attention to union members and workers directly involved in production.
Effectively organize activities to ensure occupational safety and hygiene, improve working conditions for workers such as Thanh, check the implementation of the law on occupational safety and sanitation; Consulting and supporting businesses to improve working conditions; Organize propaganda and training of occupational safety for workers and organize visits, care and support for workers in difficult circumstances, occupational accidents and occupational diseases.
Organizing activities associated with the response and participation in the implementation of the emulation movement "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" in Capital's Capital Capital according to Plan No. 90/KH -LDLD dated February 24, 2025 of the City Labor Federation with specific, appropriate jobs such as: proposing, coordinating with heads of agencies, units, enterprises launching competitions: "Green weekend", using environmentally friendly public transport; Deploying waste collection campaign, planting trees in enterprises, industrial parks ”, implementing river cleaning projects, ensuring environmental sanitation ...
At the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented support to 20 disadvantaged workers who had work-related accidents, occupational diseases and 20 children of workers in difficult circumstances. It is known that during Workers' Month, 329 disadvantaged workers suffered from work-related accidents and occupational diseases; 2,000 disadvantaged workers and 100 disadvantaged workers were supported.
