Reviewing grassroots unions under the Ba Dinh Ward Trade Union

Hanoi - Ba Dinh Ward Trade Union has organized a large-scale inspection and review of affiliated grassroots trade unions.

Accordingly, implementing Official Dispatch No. 1954/Hanoi City Labor Federation on the management and dissolution of grassroots trade unions that are no longer qualified to operate, Ba Dinh Ward Trade Union coordinated with local police and heads of residential groups to organize a large-scale inspection and review of affiliated grassroots trade unions.

The implementation process shows that the units after the review could no longer determine their operating address and could not contact the employer or the Trade Union Executive Committee. Some enterprises have stopped operating, dissolved, moved production and business locations, or no longer meet the conditions on the number of union members according to regulations to maintain the grassroots union model.

Based on the results of the actual inspection, the Ba Dinh Ward Trade Union has drawn up a record, clearly classifying the groups of units that are still operating and units that are not qualified to maintain the grassroots Trade Union. The synthesized dossier was submitted to the City Labor Federation for consideration and guidance on the next steps in management and dissolution according to regulations...
