Hoan Kiem district currently has 39,541 workers and civil servants, of which 24,515 are female, accounting for 61.2% of the total number of workers and civil servants.
With the importance of the mobilization of female workers and employees in the period of industrialization and modernization of the country, from the beginning of the year, the District Labor Federation has developed guiding documents to clearly identify the role and responsibilities of trade unions and women's committees in the organization of the emulation movement among female workers and employees, especially the emulation movement "good at water and housework".
Implementing the direction of the District Labor Federation, grassroots unions have concretized the contents and indicators of the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" into the working program, gradually bringing the movement into order, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere among female workers and civil servants. At the Conference to summarize the work of Women's Union in 2024, commend collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework"; "Outstanding families" among workers, civil servants, and laborers in 2024 organized by the District Labor Federation on April 26, the District Labor Federation commended and rewarded 84 collectives and 152 individuals with outstanding achievements in this movement.
