On May 21, the Economic Zone Trade Union organized the program "Coming to Workers' Shelter" in 2025 with many practical and meaningful activities at boarding house 68 in Tra Vinh City, Tra Vinh Province.
The program aims to innovate the form of propaganda and mobilization of union members and workers to effectively implement the policies and guidelines of the Party and State; at the same time, build "Safe, secure, hygienic, and affectionate" boarding houses.
This is a specific activity in an effort to expand the scope of care of the Trade Union organization, not only stopping at the company or factory but also spreading to the workers' housing.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Tran Nhat Linh - Chairman of the Economic Zone Trade Union shared: "Caring for workers must be comprehensive - not only at their workplace, but also at their place of residence. Safe and meaningful rooms will give workers more motivation to confidently contribute.
On this occasion, the Economic Zone Trade Union presented 43 gifts to workers and laborers at the boarding houses, demonstrating the deep concern and responsibility of the Trade Union organization for the lives of union members.
In addition, the program also promotes the dissemination of laws, occupational safety and hygiene through social networks and modern communication channels, contributing to raising awareness and creating a spreading force in the working community.
