After the first provincial-level Trade Union Meal at Ty Xuan Company Limited (Hoa Phu Industrial Park, Vinh Long) with more than 21,000 workers participating on July 28, as planned, the next event is scheduled to take place on August 8 at the branch of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. (old Long Duc - Tra Vinh Industrial Park).
This is one of three provincial-level organizing points of the program implemented by the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation, aiming to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union. At the branch of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd., there will be about 5,000 union members and workers attending the shift meal.
The program is not only material support but also has great spiritual significance, demonstrating the role of the Trade Union organization in accompanying and caring for workers. In addition to warm meals, it is expected that there will be activities to give gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, award scholarships and gifts to encourage students who are children of workers.
The third event is scheduled to take place at Gen Nex Apparel Co., Ltd. (old Giao Long Industrial Park, Ben Tre) on August 22, with about 750 workers participating.
