Black leachate flows into Nha Trang beach, polluting the environment
The black, foul-smelling water from Ru Ri landfill (Bac Nha Trang ward) flows through the residential area and then flows straight into the sea.
On November 12, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province requested departments and branches to urgently handle the environmental pollution caused by leachate from Ru Ri landfill, Bac Nha Trang ward.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to inspect and handle the proposed content of the project to upgrade and renovate Luong Hoa Wastewater Treatment Plant, ensuring the completion of the consultation and reporting before November 15, 2025.

Fishing boat sinks at the estuary in Quang Tri, Border Guards rescue 8 fishermen in distress
A fishing boat and 8 fishermen were sunk by large waves about 500 m from shore, and the border guards successfully rescued them.

On the afternoon of November 12, Nhat Le Border Guard Station (Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard) said that at about 11:50 a.m. the same day, at Nhat Le estuary, the fishing boat QB 911.38 TS, consisting of 8 crew members, captained by Mr. Hoang Viet Thanh (born in 1992, residing in Ha village, Bao Ninh commune, Quang Tri province), was sunk by large waves.

Hue operates to regulate hydroelectric reservoirs to cope with heavy rain
Hue City will operate the regulation of Binh Dien, Huong Dien, and Ta Trach hydroelectric reservoirs to proactively respond to the upcoming heavy rain.
On November 12, the Hue City Civil Defense Command issued an order to operate and regulate the Binh Dien hydropower reservoir (upstream of the Huong River) through overflow and turbines with a gradual increase of 200 - 800m3/s, starting from 3:00 p.m. the same day, adjusted according to actual flow.
Previously, Huong Dien Lake (the source of the Bo River) was ordered to discharge from 4:00 p.m. on November 11 with a flow of 300 - 700 m3/s; Ta Trach Lake discharged from 8:00 a.m. on November 12 with a flow of 300 - 800 m3/s.
