Vietnam team's match schedule in the latest 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers

In the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup, 24 teams will be divided into 6 groups, each group consisting of 4 teams, competing in a round-robin format in both home and away matches, from March 25 to March 31, 2025.

The top team in each group (6 teams) will qualify for the 2027 Asian Cup finals hosted by Saudi Arabia.

The Vietnam team is in Group F with Malaysia, Nepal and Laos. In the first match, the Vietnam team beat Laos with a score of 5-0 at home.

In the second round, the Vietnam team will face Malaysia away.

Midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc affirmed that the match against Malaysia in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup is the most important match in 2025 for the Vietnam team.

He hopes to have a good match against this opponent with his teammates on June 10 at Bukit Jalil Stadium, Kuala Lumpur.

After the first round, both Vietnam and Malaysia have 3 points, but coach Kim Sang-sik and his team temporarily lead Group F thanks to better secondary indicators. However, the Vietnamese team is facing many difficulties in terms of strength.

The Vietnam team will continue to practice in Hanoi until June 5, then move to Malaysia on the morning of June 6.

The match between the Vietnamese and Malaysian teams will take place at 8:00 p.m. (Vietnam time) on June 10 at Bukit Jalil Stadium. In the next match, the Vietnam team will face Nepal.
