At the AVC Nations Cup 2025, the Vietnam women's volleyball team will enter Group A with opponents Australia, Taiwan (China), Hong Kong (China) and India.
This is considered a fairly easy group for coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team when the opponents are not too strong. Notably, the Vietnam women's volleyball team is the current champion of the tournament for 2 consecutive seasons (2023, 2024).
In addition, Group B includes the women's volleyball teams of Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Iran, Indonesia, Mongolia and New Zealand.
Regarding the list of Vietnam women's team, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet selected the best and most in-form faces, including main attackers Thanh Thuy, Nhu Quynh, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Nguyen Thi Phuong; opposite Bich Tuyen, Kieu Trinh; middle blocker Nguyen Thi Trinh, Le Thanh Thuy, Bich Thuy, Pham Thi Hien; setter Lam Oanh, Kim Thoa and libero Khanh Dang, Ly Ly.
According to the match schedule, the Vietnam women's volleyball team will face Hong Kong (China) in the opening match on June 7. After that, Thanh Thuy and her teammates will meet Taiwan (China) on June 8, India on June 11 and Australia on June 12.
