On September 12, about 20,000 Ho Chi Minh City youth participated in the "I love my Fatherland" Journey with many meaningful activities.
At the program, the Launching Ceremony of stage 5 of the "I Love My Fatherland" Journey in 2026 took place; art program, medley "I Love My Fatherland"; launched the "Proud of the Fatherland Flag" activity, awarded national flags to members and youth; presented 50 gifts to disabled youth and 50 gifts to youth in difficult circumstances; donated resources to the Social Security Fund to care for and support youth in particularly difficult circumstances in the city; performed the torch relay ceremony for stage 5 for stage 6 in Ca Mau province, continuing the fire of the "I Love My Fatherland" Journey.
As part of a series of peak activities, the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Youth Federation will organize a traditional meeting program of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation of 3 provinces and cities (Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong, former Ba Ria - Vung Tau) through various periods combined with traditional activities at the Tam Giac Sat Tunnels historical relic site. The program aims to review the glorious tradition of the Association, express gratitude to generations of Association officials who have made many contributions to the Association's work and youth movement; and at the same time strengthen solidarity, attachment, and promote connection between generations of Association officials of 3 provinces and cities in the new period.
Another highlight that many young people are waiting for is the concert "Thanh am len dang" scheduled to be held on October 17-18, at Nguyen Hue pedestrian street. According to the organizers, "Thanh am len dang" is a continuation of the sounds of previous generations of young people, arousing patriotism, bravery, aspirations and the spirit of dedication of today's youth. From "Thanh am o doi" to "Thanh am tiep buoc", it shows the inheritance, connection and development between generations of young people. The combination of many generations of artists and youth forces will create a concert hall space with resonance and connection.
