As of 4:30 p.m. on August 3, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province said that the whole province had registered a total of money and goods to support people in flooded areas of up to VND 125,207,938,411. Of which, the remaining amount at the commune-level relief fund: 14,693,394,236 VND has been transferred to the provincial Relief Fund account: 80,113,170,175 VND; The value of goods received has been converted into money: 3,986,862,000 VND; Unregistered registration number: 26,414,557,000 VND.
As of August 2, Nghe An province has allocated 317 billion VND from 2 sources: 205 billion from the budget reserve and 112 billion from the Relief Fund through the account of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. The money was allocated according to the level of damage, prioritizing support for housing, livelihoods, infrastructure and schools for people in flooded areas.
In recent days, floods and landslides in the North Central and Northern mountainous provinces have killed and left many people missing, houses, schools and maple blossoms were swept away and submerged in mud, affecting local production activities.
