On the afternoon of September 23, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province organized a Conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to negotiate and elect the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province term I, term 2025-2030.
The Conference approved the consultation to supplement members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province term I, term 2025 - 2030 for comrade Lam Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Accordingly, the members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province term I, term 2025 - 2030 present unanimously 100% nominated Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Lam Minh Thanh to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province term I, term 2025 - 2030.
According to the requirements of personnel work and the actual situation of the province, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has decided to transfer and assign comrade Tran Thi Thanh Huong, Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to no longer hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to introduce to the Provincial People's Council to elect her to the position of Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Council.
The conference aims to consolidate the title of Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, in order to ensure that the leadership and direction of the Front work is regular and continuous, without leaving gaps in operational work, and without affecting the implementation of the political tasks of the Provincial Fatherland Front, especially in the current context.
The consultation to elect the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province was carried out closely, in accordance with the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in accordance with the principles, procedures, regulations of the Party and regulations of the Central Government on personnel work, ensuring democracy, objectivity, and publicity.
