On the morning of November 26, Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front attended and gave a speech at the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lang Son province, term 2025 - 2030.
Appreciating the spirit of preparing for the congress and the outstanding results of the Lang Son Fatherland Front in the past term, Ms. Ha Thi Nga affirmed: "On the front lines at all levels, the core role in the great solidarity bloc has been promoted, creating consensus for the province to successfully implement the restructuring of the apparatus, promote economic growth and maintain border security".
Many outstanding results were recognized by the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Executive Committee. Specifically, 7,041 temporary and dilapidated houses were newly built or repaired, helping tens of thousands of poor households stabilize their housing; 277 billion VND has been mobilized and supported for people to overcome storms and floods in 2024 - 2025.
Along with that, social monitoring and criticism are put into practice, deploying comments and receiving People's opinions via Zalo mini App "Xu Lang Digital Front".
People's foreign affairs activities spread strongly, especially the movement to build concrete roads to international markers, serving patrols and protecting sovereignty.
All of the above results demonstrate the great efforts of the Front staff, especially at the grassroots level, which plays a core role in building the great solidarity bloc, Ms. Nga affirmed.
In addition, Vice President Ha Thi Nga emphasized the requirement for the Front at all levels to continue to affirm the role of political alliance - voluntary association, a solid bridge between the Party, State, and People in the context of the country entering the period of innovation, digital transformation and deep integration.

In that spirit, she proposed that the Lang Son Provincial Fatherland Front Committee focus on 5 groups of tasks "Taking the people as the root" as the foundation throughout.
She requested that Front cadres be close to the people, close to the grassroots, close to the digital space; listen, dialogue, take responsibility and be the place where the people send their trust and hope.
Along with that, the Vietnam Fatherland Front needs to promote the application of information technology, taking advantage of the Digital Front Portal and Zalo mini App "Xu Lang Digital Front" to receive, respond, and resolve people's petitions in a timely manner.
Lang Son needs to implement the model of "Listening to the People" in all communes and wards; promote the role of the People and the press in preventing corruption and waste; strengthen coordination with the government.
In the new term, the province needs to continue to promote the movement "For the poor, leave no one behind". Develop a cooperative model, household economy, OCOP products. Preserving the identity of 7 ethnic groups of the province in building new rural areas - civilized urban areas
The Provincial Fatherland Front needs to effectively promote the model of connecting residential clusters on both sides of the border with China, promoting exchanges, cooperation, and consolidating the peaceful - cooperative - developing border.
Front cadres must dare to step out of their comfort zone, be creative, and act decisively to create real change in this term.
