Attending and directing the Congress were comrades: Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; and 299 official delegates representing the great national unity bloc of Quang Ninh province.
In his opening speech, Comrade Vu Quyet Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, emphasized: This is the first congress to follow a new model in the leadership of the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State.
The Congress focused on evaluating the results of activities of the Provincial Fatherland Front; discussing and deciding on directions, goals, tasks, and action programs for the 2025-2030 term; giving comments on the draft Documents of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress for the 2026-2031 term; democratically electing the 13th Quang Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and sending delegations to attend the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress.
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, commended, acknowledged and congratulated the outstanding results and achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Quang Ninh province in recent times.
Approving the direction and goals for the 2025-2030 term, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha suggested that the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the new term of the province closely follow the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress; thoroughly grasp the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations (2025-2030 term), in which there are 3 consistent guiding viewpoints, 6 key tasks, applying the 3 easy-to-understand, easy-to-remember, easy-to-do formula), 3 clear-minded (clear-goal, clear-responsibility, clear-term) and 3 measurements (input, measurement of impact).
In particular, it is necessary to focus on the core political role; gather all classes of people; proactively participate in solving major local problems; prioritize the development of social security models; mobilize people to participate in movements to develop private economy, household economy; build a united, prosperous and happy residential area... contributing to the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress, building Quang Ninh into a centrally-run city before 2030.
With the spirit of "Solidarity, democracy, creativity, development", the Congress unanimously elected 125 members to the 13th Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province, term 2025-2030.
At the first conference of the 13th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term 2025-2030, the Congress unanimously elected 8 comrades to join the Standing Committee and hold leadership positions of the 13th Quang Ninh Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. Comrade Vu Quyet Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XII, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XIII.
