The meeting was attended by Mr. Ma The Hong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province.
At the meeting, Mr. Ha Trung Kien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province reported on the performance of the Vietnam Fatherland Front after implementing the 2-level local government model, informed about the heavy damage caused by storms No. 10 and 11 in the area in the past time.
Immediately after the storm, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province proactively coordinated with the government and member organizations to deploy relief work, helping people quickly stabilize their lives and restore production.
Some opinions at the meeting also pointed out the advantages and difficulties in implementing the two-level government model such as the arrangement of the Party organization; decentralization, delegation of power, and uneven resources for performing tasks.
Despite many difficulties and challenges, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province and socio-political organizations have affirmed their determination to overcome difficulties, innovate the content and methods of operation to promote the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new period.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has achieved in recent times, especially the central role of the Front in the great national unity bloc, social security activities, disaster relief, supervision and social criticism.
Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga suggested that in the coming time, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Fatherland Front Committee continue to promote initiative and creativity in implementing patriotic emulation movements and major campaigns launched by the Central Government.
At the same time, focus on grasping the thoughts and aspirations of the people, promptly reflecting to the Party Committee and the government to find effective solutions. Strengthen the building of a strong Front organization, improve the capacity of cadres, especially at the grassroots level; promote coordination between the Front and the government and member organizations, in order to effectively carry out political tasks, contributing to building a sustainable local development.
