Border Guards mobilize forces to supply necessities, clear roads after floods

Border Guards support the transportation of necessities to isolated households and help people repair items of the population damaged after the flood.

On November 25, information from the Border Guard (BDBP) said that the working delegation of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command, led by Colonel Nguyen Minh Tuyen - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command, had gone to Buon Don commune to direct the work of overcoming the consequences of floods.

In areas that are still littered with mud after floods, Colonel Nguyen Minh Tuyen was directly present at each repair point, requesting units to speed up the clearance progress, gradually restoring people's lives.

Currently, 60 officers and soldiers of the Training - Mobile Battalion and the Se Re Phok Border Guard Station are coordinating with the Police, militia and local authorities to participate in clearing mud, clearing inter-village routes, supporting the transportation of necessities to isolated households and helping people overcome items of the population damaged after the flood.

In recent days, the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard has continued to mobilize maximum forces of vehicles to the damaged areas, coordinate with Party committees, authorities and forces to support people to overcome the consequences of floods and soon stabilize their lives.

In O Loan, Tuy An Nam and Tuy An Dong communes, An Hai Border Guard Station mobilized officers and soldiers to coordinate with local police and military forces to receive, loading and transporting 25 tons of necessities to distribute to affected villages.

At the same time, coordinate to mobilize 0 VND kitchens in Tuy An Nam commune to prepare, receive and distribute 410 meals (including rice, drinking water, milk) to people in Phuoc Luong village (O Loan commune).

In Xuan Dai and Song Cau wards, Xuan Dai Border Guard Station organized the distribution of 300 relief gifts from the Provincial Border Guard Command to people in flooded areas; at the same time, deploying the "clean water borderATM" model, providing 150 clean water hotpot for households lacking domestic water.

In Hoa Xuan commune, Vung Ro Border Guard Station coordinated with local authorities to distribute medicine, necessities and medical examination and treatment for free to more than 150 people.

Working groups continue to support people in cleaning up, clearing water flows, collecting mud and repairing inter-village roads, helping people soon stabilize their lives.

In Hoa Hiep ward, Hoa Hiep Nam Border Guard Station participated in receiving and transporting necessities to distribute to people; coordinated with the military and Youth Union of Hoa Hiep ward to clean up flooded roads and houses in Go Trong area, Phu Hiep 2 Quarter. The unit also patrolled along the beach to search for missing people after the storm.

In Xuan Loc commune, officers and soldiers of Xuan Hoa Border Guard Station coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to overcome the consequences of natural disasters; clean the drainage system, clean schools, and ensure conditions for students to return to school soon.

During the implementation of the task, the forces directly helping the people were visited, encouraged, and supplemented by leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province; Military Region 5. The Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard Command encouraged and gave more spirit so that officers and soldiers could continue to strive to support the people to overcome difficulties after floods.
