More than VND2,088 billion registered to support people to overcome the consequences of floods

On November 25, responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), Mr. Tran Thanh Lam - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission visited the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to present 450 million VND to support people to overcome the consequences of floods.

Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Tran Thanh Lam shared that recently, floods have caused heavy damage to people in the provinces, promoting the spirit of "mutual love and support", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", giving gifts and clothes, "love others as if loving oneself" and responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the collective of cadres, party members and workers of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee hopes to send their feelings through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee to the people in flooded areas to contribute to sharing the difficulties and painful losses that the people have just experienced.

Emphasizing the activity of demonstrating the affection, responsibility and sharing of the Board's cadres, civil servants and workers towards people in disaster areas; as a source of encouragement, contributing to supporting people to soon overcome the consequences of floods, stabilize their lives and restore production, Mr. Tran Thanh Lam hopes that this amount of money will soon be promptly allocated by the Central Relief Mobilization Committee to the people to have more resources to rebuild their lives.

Sincerely thank the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Social Work Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front committed that the donations from departments, ministries, branches and people nationwide will be transferred as soon as possible to people in provinces affected by storms and floods; at the same time, emphasized that each Front officer has, is and will promote the highest spirit and responsibility towards the people.

Mr. Cao Xuan Thao also informed that, implementing the direction of the Standing Committee of the Secretariat and the Prime Minister, on October 2, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held a launching ceremony and issued a Call for support for people affected by storm No. 10 (Bualoi). By October 31, 2025, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee issued Notice No. 57 on continuing to mobilize support for people affected by storms No. 11, 12, 13 and floods. On November 21, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front continued to launch the campaign "All people support people in the Central and Central Highlands to overcome the consequences of floods".

As of 12:00 on November 25, more than 1.05 million people and nearly 61,000 businesses have donated through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee. Thus, the total amount registered through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee is more than 2,088.5 billion VND. Of which, units registered through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee but directly transferred support to localities is 1,118.5 billion VND; units, organizations and individuals transferred money or cash directly to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee is over 970 billion VND.

Since October, the Vietnam Fatherland Front in 34 provinces, cities and all levels have launched support programs to respond to the Appeal of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for On-site Support, directly transferring support sources to affected localities.

According to incomplete statistics, as of November 24, the entire Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels has mobilized over VND3,200 billion to support people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.

The Central Relief Mobilization Committee has allocated 9 rounds with a budget of 678.182 billion VND through the accounts of the Relief Committees or the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of 23 provinces and cities: Thai Nguyen 45.12 billion VND; Bac Ninh 20.062 billion VND; Lang Son 30.5 billion VND; Cao Bang 35 billion VND; Tuyen Quang 35 billion VND; Lao Cai 25 billion VND; Son La 15 billion VND; Dien Bien 5 billion VND; Phu Tho 20 billion VND; Hai Phong 10 billion VND; Hung Yen 10 billion VND; Ninh Binh 25.5 billion VND; Thanh Hoa 25.5 billion VND; Nghe An 40.5 billion VND; Ha Tinh 40.5 billion VND; Quang Tri 55.5 billion VND; Hue 40 billion VND; Da Nang 40 billion VND; Quang Ngai 35 billion VND; Gia Lai 45 billion VND; Gia Dak Khanh 40 billion VND; Lam Lam Lam 20 billion VND.

Localities and units have directly allocated 118.5 billion VND in funding to localities. Vingroup Corporation, through Thien Tam Fund, has disbursed more than 350 billion VND.

Also on November 25, representatives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front received support from collectives and individuals through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee.
