On the afternoon of May 12, at the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031, important contents took place.

At the congress, the "Personnel Project of the 11th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031" was approved; Consultation to elect the 11th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031.

The Congress approved the following number: Members of the 11th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031 including 405 members; Members of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front from 72-100 members, Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front including 12 members.

In which, the structure and composition of the 11th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front include: Heads of member organizations: 62 positions; Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities: 34 positions.

293 people are typical individuals including: Intellectuals, experts in various fields: 96 people (presenting at the Consultative Congress 92 people, missing 04 people will be supplemented and consolidated during the term); Workers, farmers, armed forces, island districts: 18 people; Representatives of ethnic minorities: 53 people (structured enough to represent 53 ethnic minorities); Representatives of religious dignitaries: 53 people (structured enough 16 major religions and religious organizations with many followers); Representatives of economic sectors: 55 people (presenting at the Consultative Congress 54 people, missing 1 person will be supplemented when there is suitable personnel); Overseas Vietnamese: 18 people (presenting at the Consultative Congress 17 people, missing 01 person will be supplemented when there is suitable personnel).

The full-time officials of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front are 16 positions including: Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front: 7 positions (excluding Heads of socio-political organizations at the Central level); Heads of departments and units under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front: 9 positions (7 positions submitted to the Congress for consultation, 2 positions missing will be added in the term).

Regarding the combined structure: Outside the Party are 201 people (50.62%), term X is 50.1%; Women are 93 people (23.4%), term X is 21.9%; Ethnic minorities are 105 people (26.5%), term X is 25.4%; Religion is 78 people (19.7%), term X is 17%; Education level: University or higher is 316 people (81.6%), term X is 80.7%.

Age: From 40 years old and under is 41 people (10.3%); From 41 - 60 years old is 179 people (45.1%); From 61 years old and over is 177 people (44.6%).

At the Congress, 397 members were elected by consultation to participate in the 11th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031 (8 members are missing, and will be consolidated and supplemented during the term when there is suitable personnel), specifically: re-election is 309 members (77.8%), new introduction is 88 members (22.2%).

Also on the afternoon of May 12, the first Conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, XI term, 2026-2031 took place.
