Electing 17 comrades to join the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union

The conference aims to review and decide on many important contents related to personnel work; activities, work of the Association and women's movements nationwide.

Attending the conference were comrades: Nguyen Thai Hoc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (FFF), Central organizations; Nguyen Thi Kim Thuy - Deputy Head of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Society; Trinh Thi Thuy - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Nguyen Pham Duy Trang - Deputy Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

At the conference, delegates discussed and gave opinions on the expected Program and the contents presented at the 14th Conference of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, 13th tenure.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions Nguyen Thai Hoc highly appreciated the preparation of the contents at the 14th conference of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, 13th tenure. The conference took place enthusiastically with many contents voted unanimously, many comments contributed with a high sense of responsibility, close to the grassroots.

Focusing on the Draft Political Report of the 13th Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union submitted to the 14th National Congress of Women's Representatives, comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc suggested that in the next term, the Vietnam Women's Union needs to study and innovate the organization and methods of Association activities from the grassroots to the central level to meet new requirements, in the new context.

In addition, the Deputy Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations also suggested that the Vietnam Women's Union must enhance the substance, effectiveness and depth of models and activities, especially issues related to the population and health care for women and children as approved by the Conference Resolution.

Through the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the strength of solidarity of the people's hearts has been clearly promoted. Comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc believes that the Vietnam Women's Union needs to inspire and focus on women to promote their material and spiritual strength, contributing more to the cause of national construction and development.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Women's Union - accepted the instructions of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations Nguyen Thai Hoc as well as leaders of the Party committees and Central organizations.

To successfully implement the set targets and tasks as planned, in the remaining 4 months of 2025, President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen suggested that the Women's Union at all levels, affiliated units, member organizations, members of the Central Executive Committee of the Union, based on the practical situation of the locality, the unit "accelerated and made a breakthrough", focused on implementing the tasks of the Union to ensure quality, progress, and effectively implement the theme of 2025 "Promoting the role of women in building a clean and strong Party, political system, ready to enter a new era, an era of national growth"; actively participated in preparing for the Party Congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress; prepared well and conditions to organize the Provincial Women's Congress, the Provincial Women's Congress.

The Central Executive Committee of the 13th Vietnam Women's Union also called on all cadres, members and women nationwide to actively participate in emulation movements, join hands, be unanimous, overcome all difficulties and challenges, proactively seize opportunities, strive to compete to achieve the highest achievements, practically celebrate the major holidays of the country, celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union and the 5th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Vietnam Women's Union.
