Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religious Affairs visits and presents Tet gifts to Chol Chnam Thmay in Vinh Long

Vinh Long - Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, visits and gives gifts to Khmer people on the occasion of the Chol Chnam Thmay Tet.

On April 11, a delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religious Affairs, visited and presented gifts on the occasion of the Chol Chnam Thmay Tet in Vinh Long province.

In Binh Phu commune, Minister Nguyen Dinh Khang cordially inquired and directly presented 30 meaningful gifts to dignitaries, policy families, poor households, and prestigious people.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of monks, policy families, poor households and prestigious people among the Khmer ethnic people.

The Minister respectfully sent his thanks to the leaders of Party committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and political organizations of Vinh Long province for always caring and giving special affection to ethnic minorities, including Khmer people.

Previously, the working delegation visited and presented 150 gifts to monks, policy families, and poor households. At the same time, 45 gifts were also presented to prestigious people in Chau Thanh, Hung My, Song Loc communes and Tra Vinh, Long Duc, and Nguyet Hoa wards.

On this occasion, Minister Nguyen Dinh Khang and leaders of Vinh Long province visited typical retired officials. The delegation wished Tet to former members of the Party Central Committee: Son Song Son, Lam Phu and Son Minh Thang at their private homes.

At the places he visited, the Minister respectfully acknowledged the great contributions of the former leaders to the cause of national development. He wished the comrades and their families good health and continued to be role models for the young generation.

On behalf of the working delegation, the Minister sent wishes to all compatriots, comrades and dignitaries for a new year of new victories. He hoped that the Khmer ethnic people would always have a warm, happy, peaceful and prosperous life.
