On February 28, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, along with candidates for National Assembly deputies of the XVI term belonging to constituency No. 1 of Lam Dong province, met with voters in Duc Trong, Hiep Thanh, Ninh Gia, Ta Hine, Ta Nang, Tan Hoi and Gia Hiep communes.

In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation continued to meet with voters in Xuan Huong - Da Lat, Cam Ly - Da Lat, Lang Biang - Da Lat wards and Lac Duong commune.
Lam Dong province has 6 electoral units, 29 candidates to elect 17 National Assembly deputies of the 16th term; unit No. 1 alone has 5 candidates, including Mr. Nguyen Van Quang.

At the conference, the official list and biography summary of candidates were announced; candidates presented action programs, committed to promoting capacity, intelligence, and qualities if elected.
Voters in Lam Dong highly appreciated the action program of the candidates; and at the same time proposed judicial reform, digital transformation of the court sector, and salary policies for commune-level officials.

Lam Dong voters proposed that the National Assembly have strong policies to promote socio-economic development of the whole country and localities.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang said that he and the Central Government will lead the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress.
From there, concretize goals suitable to the reality of Lam Dong and participate in contributing opinions for the province to effectively implement 6 key tasks and 3 strategic breakthroughs for the 2025–2030 term.

He also said that Lam Dong has many potentials and advantages from forests to seas for socio-economic development, in which tourism and services are key economic sectors.
However, the current infrastructure structure still has many limitations. Therefore, in the coming time, the province needs to have specific and appropriate mechanisms and policies to develop transport infrastructure and digital infrastructure.
In particular, Lam Dong needs to focus on investing in infrastructure to serve tourism and services; continue to promote the application of science and technology in agricultural production, especially high-tech agriculture and smart agriculture.
According to the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, to achieve the double-digit growth target, Lam Dong needs to pay more attention to social security policies, improve the material and spiritual life of the people, especially in remote and isolated areas, and ethnic minority areas.
