In the afternoon session, the Central Committee continued to implement the contents of personnel work.
In particular, the Central Committee agreed to let Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Committee, stop participating in the 13th Central Inspection Committee, stop holding the position of Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Committee (to focus on the new tasks assigned by the Politburo).
The Central Committee has implemented a process of introducing personnel for a number of positions: Vice Chairman of the 15th National Assembly, Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Commission and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court (SPC) for the 2021 - 2026 term so that the Politburo can decide to introduce the Party Central Committee to elect the Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission and the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly to elect according to regulations.
The Central Committee elected Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee to join the Central Inspection Committee and hold the position of Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Committee.
Previously, regarding personnel work, on November 4, at the National Assembly House, General Secretary To Lam chaired a conference to present the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
According to the Politburo's decision, Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) - ceased to participate in the 13th Secretariat, ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, ceased to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the VFF, Central organizations for the 2020-2025 term; transferred, assigned, appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and held the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
On the morning of November 4, the Hanoi Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
At the conference, Central Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Hoang Dang Quang announced the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee, stopped participating in the 13th Secretariat, was transferred, assigned, and appointed to participate in the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVIII, 2025-2030.

At the ceremony, General Secretary To Lam presented the decision to transfer, assign and appoint Mr. Le Minh Tri - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court (SPC) - to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.
