On the morning of March 4, at the hall of Chien Dan Commune People's Committee (Da Nang City), the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city organized a meeting with voters for candidates for the 16th National Assembly (term 2026–2031) of constituency No. 5 to present their action programs to voters in Chien Dan and Phu Ninh communes.

This is the third voter contact point in the election campaign series of candidates. Previously, on March 3, candidates had contacted voters in Ban Thach ward and Nui Thanh commune, listening to many opinions related to infrastructure development, employment, environment, education and social security policies.
Participating in the election campaign at the conference were 5 candidates, including: Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central Agencies, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee, Member of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Committee for Representative Affairs, Director of the Department of Representative Affairs under the Committee for Representative Affairs of the National Assembly; Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City; Ms. Dinh Thi Mia - teacher, Deputy Head of the Professional Group of Vo Nguyen Giap Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School, Tra Tap commune and Ms. Ho Thi Hiet - teacher of Tra Nam Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary and Secondary School, Tra Linh commune.

At the conference, candidates presented action programs, expressing their determination to contribute to legislative activities, supervise and decide on important issues of the country if trusted by voters to be elected as National Assembly deputies.
In his action program, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized promoting social security policies, better caring for people in remote and isolated areas, workers and laborers; and promoting innovation, digital transformation, creating new growth momentum for localities and the country.

Mr. Tuan also affirmed that he will actively participate in law-making, listen to and truthfully reflect voters' opinions to the National Assembly and competent agencies, and monitor and urge the settlement of legitimate petitions of the people.
Recorded at the conference, many voters highly appreciated the qualifications, qualities and abilities of the candidates. Voters believe that the list of candidates this time has a combination of leaders, experts and grassroots teachers, creating diversity in experience and perspectives in parliamentary activities.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, a voter in Nui Thanh commune, said that candidates all have clear action programs, closely following the practical issues of the people.
We highly appreciate the qualifications and enthusiasm of the candidates. In particular, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan is an official with a lot of experience at the strategic level, if elected, he will have the conditions to contribute more to the development of the locality and the whole country," Mr. Hoa expressed.
Many voters also expect that National Assembly deputies after being elected will continue to maintain close contact with voters, pursue to the end recommendations related to rural infrastructure, create sustainable jobs for workers and improve the quality of education and grassroots health services.
Representatives of the conference organizing committee said that all voters' opinions will be summarized and sent to competent authorities for consideration and settlement according to regulations, and at the same time, it will be a basis for candidates to continue to improve their action programs.
