At exactly 7 am on March 15, immediately after the solemn opening ceremonies of the election, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central Agencies, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice Chairman of the National Election Council Bui Thi Minh Hoai; Politburo Member of the XIII term, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra; Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman - Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung; Mr. Pham Minh Trong, elderly party member of Party cell 9 and 18-year-old voter Nguyen Khanh Linh cast the first ballots.
Talking to reporters about his feelings after voting, voter Pham Minh Trong (84 years old) said that he has participated in many elections. Each vote brings a different feeling.
The first time is definitely very touching and special. The following times the feeling is different, but what I see clearly is that each election is better than the previous one, the country is increasingly developing.
In particular, this election takes place in the context that we are accelerating digital transformation. Therefore, I see that the communication work, preparation work as well as implementation organization are all very modern, methodical and convenient.
Not only convenient for agencies to organize implementation but also very convenient for voters to participate in voting. Personally, I feel very excited. When I received the notification to vote, I arrived a few minutes earlier to prepare," voter Pham Minh Trong said.
Following that, a large number of voters in ballot box No. 7 took turns voting, exercising their rights and obligations as citizens.
With 1,171 voters in the area, voters attending today all expressed excitement when witnessing the changes of the country in the past time, believing that the selected delegates will truly have enough heart, enough vision, enough strength and enough talent to contribute to bringing the country forward quickly and strongly in the new era, soon successfully implementing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and important strategic decisions that the Central Government has set out.
