On the afternoon of July 17, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Can Tho City held a conference to announce the Decision on the organization and personnel work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City.

At the conference, the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front was approved to recognize the positions in the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City for the 2024 - 2029 term, consisting of 10 comrades. Including:
Ms. Ho Thi Cam Dao, member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
Mr. Tran Van Chinh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Deputy of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.

The Can Tho City Party Committee's decision to establish the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City Agency consists of 10 advisory and supporting units under its management. Including: Office; Organizing and inspecting Committee; Committee for Democracy, Supervision and Social Criticism; Trade Union Working Committee; Farmers' Work Committee; Trade Union and Youth Work Committee; Women's Work Committee; Veterans' Work Committee; Ethnic and Religious Committee; Mass Association Working Committee.

The conference also announced and presented 75 Decisions of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City on receiving, assigning and appointing civil servants and employees to leadership and professional positions at the Office and specialized Departments.
Accordingly, Ms. Tran Ngoc My, Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation, concurrently Chief of Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, along with 4 Deputy Chief of Office and 12 experts from the Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue Chi, member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, concurrently Head of the Organization - Inspection Committee, along with 4 Deputy Heads of the Committee and 4 specialists.
Mr. Le Nguyen Sinh Nhut, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, concurrently Head of the Committee for Democracy - Social Supervision and Criticism, along with 3 Deputy Heads of the Committee and 5 experts.

Mr. Le Trung Hau, Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City Veterans Association, concurrently Head of the Veterans Affairs Committee, along with 6 Deputy Heads of the Committee and 14 specialists and staff.
Mr. Pham Thanh Hoai, Vice Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Can Tho City, concurrently Head of the Farmers' Work Committee, along with 7 Deputy Heads of the Committee and 18 specialists and staff.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Can Tho City, concurrently Head of the Youth Union and Children's Work Committee, along with 8 Deputy Heads of the Committee and 11 specialists and staff.
The position of Head of the Women's Affairs Committee is currently lacking and will be supplemented after having qualified personnel. The Board currently has 7 Deputy Heads and 15 specialists and staff.

Mr. Le Cong Khanh, Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation, concurrently Head of the Trade Union Work Committee, and 21 Deputy Heads of the Committee. In addition, the Trade Union Working Committee also has 1 Vice President of the City Labor Federation and 35 specialists and staff. There are 20 civil servants assigned to work at 6 Commune and Ward Trade Unions of Can Tho city.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Ho Thi Cam Dao, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City emphasized: Assigning tasks is an honor and responsibility, especially in the early stages after the merger. Leaders of units need to pay attention and support so that cadres, civil servants and public employees can work with peace of mind and complete their tasks well.
Ms. Dao suggested continuing to promote the role of a bridge between the Party, State and People; promptly listening to and reflecting the legitimate aspirations of the People; strengthening supervision and social criticism, promoting patriotic emulation movements.
Along with that, units are preparing well for the Party Congress of agencies and agencies for the 2025 - 2030 term, as well as the Front Congresses at all levels towards the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Can Tho City for the 2025 - 2030 term. At the same time, develop a suitable plan to participate in organizing the election of 16th National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
