On the afternoon of March 19, the Vinh Long Provincial Election Commission said that after completing the vote counting and summarizing from the voting areas, the whole province had 85 elected delegates, ensuring the correct structure, composition and number according to regulations. The results reflect the spirit of democracy and responsibility of voters throughout the province.
According to the Provincial Election Commission, the number of voters who went to vote was 76,188,544 people, reaching 99.68% of the total number of voters. The election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term took place democratically, safely, and in accordance with legal regulations.
Elected delegates ensure standards and conditions according to regulations; have a reasonable structure in terms of gender, age, professional qualifications, representing all classes of people, ethnic groups, and religions in the area.
The Provincial Election Commission assessed that the success of the election is the result of the close leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the synchronous involvement of the entire political system and the thorough preparation of all levels, sectors, and localities. Security and order assurance work was deployed closely, without leading to passive or unexpected situations.
The election results accurately reflect the will, aspirations and trust of voters in those who are virtuous and talented enough to participate in state power agencies in the locality.
