The 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hai Phong City is an important political event, the first congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hai Phong City under a new organizational model. In particular, the Congress took place after the success of the first City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
With the theme "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hai Phong City, term 2025-2030, will carry out the following important contents: Assessing the results of the implementation of the action program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city from 2024 to present; Proposing goals, directions, tasks, and terms for 2025-2030; Discussing and contributing opinions on the draft documents of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; giving comments on the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (amended and supplemented); negotiating to elect the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, term I, 2025-2030; negotiating to elect a delegation to attend the 1st National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031.

According to the political report at the congress, after merging Hai Phong City with Hai Duong Province, Hai Phong City currently has 615,301 workers and laborers; 2 million farmers, 973,000 young people aged 16-30, nearly 1.2 million women aged 18 and over; over 336 thousand veterans, veterans, and veterans; 400,000 intellectuals; 120,000 businessmen, over 700,000 elderly people; 70,000 people belonging to 93 religious organizations; 26,000 people belonging to more than 40 ethnic minorities living in the city...
In recent years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hai Phong City and Hai Duong Province have quite comprehensively completed the tasks in the annual action coordination program, contributing significantly to the overall development of each locality.

Along with that, the Vietnam Fatherland Front also improved the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, implemented democracy, actively participated in building the Party, State and political system. The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels has organized 710 concentrated supervisions in areas of concern to the people. Participated in giving opinions on 2,581 draft documents of Party committees... Fatherland Front cadres and mass organizations are the core to mobilize and mediate 3,092 cases, mediating 2,478 cases, reaching 82.7%, contributing to the stability of local socio-politics.
Campaigns "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" with the "land donation" movement, contributing to building infrastructure, economic development, environmental protection, contributing to building model new rural areas; The "Vietnamese people use Vietnamese goods" movement; Hunger eradication and poverty reduction, disaster relief work has been widely implemented.
