On November 9, in Hanoi, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front chaired a meeting, giving opinions on the content of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hai Phong City, term 2025 - 2030.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Pham Van Lap - Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City; leaders of the Departments of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City.
Presenting a report on the contents related to the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hai Phong City, term 2025-2030, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city said that the draft Political Report with the theme "Innovating the content and methods of operation, enhancing the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; promoting the strength of national solidarity, joining hands to build Hai Phong city to develop, civilize and modern".
The draft report sets out 8 specific targets, including organizing at least 8 programs and monitoring contents/year; social criticism at least 8 draft documents/year; completing the organization of monitoring the contents according to the direction of superiors and issues of public concern...
Along with that, the draft political report also proposed 3 breakthroughs for the term.
The expected personnel to participate in the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, term I, 2025-2030, is 120 people re-elected to participate and participate in the Committee for the first time, with 57 people being Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of communes, wards and special zones in the city; 33 people being heads of member organizations; 10 outstanding individuals.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairwoman - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha highly appreciated the contents of the Documents submitted to the Congress prepared by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City; at the same time, she suggested that the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city should study and accept comments at the meeting to complete the Document, ensuring the successful organization of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hai Phong City, term 2025 - 2030.
The political report must create highlights, clarify the results of the city's apparatus arrangement and affirm the role and tasks of socio-political organizations and member organizations in implementing the contents of the action program of the term, especially the contents that are regular, focused, and have the unique identity of the city, Vice President - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha suggested.
Emphasizing that the term's targets must be in-depth and carry the message of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city in the new period, Vice President - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha stated that the draft political report needs to add a number of specific targets; study and supplement targets suitable for urban characteristics and requirements for digital transformation in receiving, handling and reflecting opinions of the People and residential areas with self-management models according to urban characteristics...
Vice Chairwoman - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha suggested that the personnel participating in the Committee must ensure the standards, quantity, and compositional structure of the Committee and the Standing Committee in accordance with local regulations and actual situations.
