In particular, immediately after the merger of provinces, under the close direction of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, under the direct leadership of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front system from the province to the grassroots has quickly improved the organization, streamlined the apparatus, and operated according to the 2-level local government model.
From 2024 to present, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees and socio-political organizations at all levels have supervised 102 sessions, established 275 direct monitoring teams and organized over 100 review conferences.
Coordinate to mobilize and receive over 203 billion VND; support the construction and repair of houses for 3,690 poor households with a total cost of over 154 billion VND, contributing to the whole province in completing the removal of over 10,800 temporary and dilapidated houses, reaching 100% of the plan. The whole Phu Tho province has 84/133 communes meeting new rural standards, 3 communes meeting advanced new rural standards and 525 residential areas meeting model new rural standards.
These results have contributed to enhancing the role and position of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the political system, effectively promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; at the same time, contributing significantly to the successful implementation of local socio-economic development goals.
For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee set 16 specific targets and identified 3 breakthroughs, striving for 100% of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees and member organizations at all levels to carry out digital transformation, apply information technology in activities, deploy the use of management software for executive documents and the People's reflection system via the "Digital Front" application.
Every year, the Provincial Fatherland Front presides over the supervision of at least 5 programs, contents and reviews at least 5 draft documents; the Commune-level Fatherland Front presides over the supervision of at least 3 contents and reviews at least 3 contents in appropriate forms. Each residential area has at least 1 typical project or part of the work, specifically contributing to building, serving the community, developing the local socio-economy, contributing to improving the quality of life of the people, building a united, prosperous and happy residential area...
Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy praised the outstanding efforts and results of the Phu Tho Provincial Fatherland Front, especially in innovation in propaganda, mobilization and improving the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, organizing emulation movements towards the grassroots.
He suggested that the Provincial Fatherland Front in the new term continue to thoroughly grasp the viewpoint of "taking the People as the center, the subject and the driving force of innovation"; promote innovation in content and methods of operation in a practical direction; improve the quality of participation in Party and government building; promote the cultural, intellectual and consensus strength of the People. Forces at all levels need to proactively grasp the situation, promptly reflect the thoughts and aspirations of the people; strengthen supervision of issues directly related to the security, rights and legitimate interests of the people; contribute to realizing the goal of making Phu Tho a growth province of the Capital region, where the people enjoy more and more development results.
