Ho Chi Minh City Police are investigating and clarifying the cause of the serious fire that occurred on November 28 at a car repair garage on Nguyen Duy Trinh Street, Long Truong Ward, causing a 5-seat car to be completely burned down.
At about 10:30 a.m. the same day, the car was parked inside the garage at the above address when it suddenly caught fire.
According to records at the scene, as soon as the fire appeared, the garage staff quickly found ways to control the fire. However, the fire broke out too quickly and strongly, causing initial efforts to extinguish the fire to fail.
Realizing the risk of the fire spreading to vehicles and surrounding areas, many employees joined forces and tried their best to push the burning car out of the closed space of the garage.
Immediately after the vehicle was pushed out, the fire flared up fiercely, quickly engulfing and burning down the entire 5-seat car, leaving only the deformed iron frame.
The authorities arrived at the scene in time as soon as they received the report. The fire was then controlled and completely extinguished.
On the afternoon of November 28, Ho Chi Minh City Police are coordinating with relevant units to conduct a crime scene investigation and collect evidence to serve the investigation of the cause of the fire.
