On March 3, candidates running for National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term, term 2026 - 2031, constituency No. 7, An Giang province, met with voters in Vinh Hoa commune.
At the conference, Ms. Nguyen Quynh Lien - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Democracy, Supervision and Social Criticism Committee, Deputy Chairwoman of the Democracy - Law Advisory Council of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front expressed her impression of Vinh Hoa commune when the locality has quite good social security and vocational training programs, coordinates with the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to lend capital, the implementation of gratitude policies to care for people with meritorious services is very well implemented, in general, the poverty rate is also lower than other communes.
However, Ms. Lien also acknowledged that there are still common difficulties in climate change, subsidence, ecotourism development, creating brands for local fruit trees... that need to be invested in to develop better in the coming time.

Ms. Lien also expressed that if trusted to be elected as a National Assembly Deputy, she will do her best to act as a bridge, bringing voters' voices to the forums of the National Assembly and State agencies.
In addition, do better in social security work, support livelihoods, avoid re-poverty, and better care for families with meritorious services to the revolution. Strengthen the supervisory role, listen to the aspirations of the people, be close to the people, and be close to the people," Ms. Lien shared.
Previously, on the afternoon of March 2, Ms. Lien and 4 candidates also had a meeting with voters in Dong Thai commune.
At the meeting with voters, Ms. Nguyen Quynh Lien expressed her impression of the commune's efforts in implementing the new rural program and hunger eradication and poverty reduction. The "electricity, roads, schools, stations" system and the bridge and sewer network in the commune are increasingly complete, helping to facilitate trade and improve people's lives. The commune has removed temporary houses for the most difficult households and especially raised the health insurance rate for people from poor and near-poor households to 100%. This is proof that social security is always thoroughly concerned so that no one is left behind.
However, through practical understanding, Dong Thai commune still has difficulties that need to be completely resolved. The traffic bridge system connecting canals and ditches needs to be invested more synchronously; seafood products, although they are strengths, still lack a unique brand to enhance value. In particular, the issue of saltwater intrusion and the saltwater intrusion control system are direct challenges to farming areas and sustainable livelihoods of people.
If elected as a National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term, Ms. Lien also proposed to implement key solutions. Focus on building a legal corridor and sustainable development policies.
The focus is on proposing investment in saltwater - freshwater regulation works at culverts to protect aquaculture and rice areas; developing synchronous transport infrastructure, connecting inter-communes, inter-regions, re-planning appropriate shrimp - rice areas; promoting smart agricultural models, organic agriculture and improving environmental quality, developing traditional handicrafts; promoting the OCOP product development program to create brands for local products and linking value chains; promoting preferential loan policies and agricultural insurance policies to make aquaculture models more sustainable in the face of natural disasters.

Participate deeply and actively in social security and legal aid work. Strengthen supervision for the benefit of the people; always be close to the people, close to the people, all actions take the interests of the people as the center.
The goal is to closely monitor national target programs, public investment projects in the province and communes, the organization of the implementation of tasks of commune-level governments, especially in resolving administrative procedures, changing papers, registering land use rights, organizing the implementation of social security policies, implementing democracy at the grassroots level... to ensure that voters and people enjoy the achievements of the government "saying truth, doing truth, and getting real results". Improve efficiency, avoid waste and negativity, and not cause voters to have trouble and hardship in the process of doing procedures," Ms. Lien emphasized.
