On July 8, the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Phuoc Loc affirmed that it is necessary to consider the close and synchronous coordination between the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the National Assembly Delegation of Ho Chi Minh City as a very important basis in the solution and driving force to organize the implementation of activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc shared that the coordination between the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the National Assembly Delegation of Ho Chi Minh City must be tight and synchronous to achieve the highest results.
According to Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, the supervision of the National Assembly is of a State power nature, while the supervision of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations is of a social nature. If the two units do not coordinate synchronously in supervision, it will put great pressure on the units that must supervise. There are monitoring sessions with shared results but completely different recommendations. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to promoting and urging post-supervision issues, resolving legal and legitimate recommendations from the people.
Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Van Loi assessed that the wishes of Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Phuoc Loc are also the wishes of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation. That is, the coordination between the two units must be good, substantial, and effective. Accordingly, it is necessary to coordinate from the stage of institution building according to institutional decentralization, coordinate with supreme supervision, receive citizens, resolve voters' recommendations...
Mr. Nguyen Van Loi expressed his hope that the coordination between the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation and the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee will be comprehensive and effective.
