Speaking at the opening of the conference, Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (VFF), central mass organizations, Vice Chairman - Secretary General of the Central Committee of the VFF emphasized that the Conference to study, study, thoroughly grasp, and implement the Resolution of the 11th National Congress of the VFF, term 2026 - 2031 is one of 5 conferences organized in a new way, which is to organize according to 5 emulation clusters of the VFF of provinces and cities directly under the Central Government with direct and online forms to the commune level. Up to now, there are emulation clusters of the Central Highlands and Central Coast provinces, emulation clusters of the Southern provinces organized and now emulation clusters of cities directly under the Central Government organized.
Vice Chairman - Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front informed that the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031, took place successfully, marking a new stage of development of the Vietnam Fatherland Front with important guidelines, goals, tasks and solutions approved by the Congress.
Comrade To Lam - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and leaders and former leaders of the Party and State attended to direct and delivered important speeches at the Congress. In which, he praised the positive results achieved by the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, member organizations, team of cadres working in the Front, union members, association members and people from all walks of life in the past time. At the same time, he emphasized 5 key task groups that the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations need to implement in the coming term.
Today's conference will deploy the orientations and directions of General Secretary and President To Lam at the Congress; and at the same time, it is a step to concretize the Resolution and Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 11th VFF Congress. From there, unify awareness and action throughout the VFF system and member organizations.
At the conference, the Organizing Committee focused on information and exchanged two topics: topic 1 will focus on the key, core, and new points of the Resolution of the 11th Congress; goals, tasks, action programs and key solutions in the 2026-2031 term. Topic 2 guides the use of some digital platforms of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
To make the conference practically effective, Ms. Ha Thi Nga proposed that, from the practical work of the Fatherland Front in nearly 1 year of operating under the new model, delegates actively exchange and discuss to clarify the challenges, difficulties, opportunities, and advantages to jointly agree on breakthrough solutions to best promote the role of political alliance, voluntary union; being the political basis of the people's government; gathering and promoting the strength of the great national unity; expressing the will, aspirations and promoting the people's right to mastery, strengthening social consensus; participating in building the Party, the State, and the people's foreign affairs activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Along with that, on the basis of researching, studying, and thoroughly grasping 2 topics, the Standing Committees of the VFF Committees of cities will continue to concretize the spirit, tasks, and solutions that have been identified to strongly innovate the activities of the VFF, socio-political organizations and member organizations so that "in the new model, the organization can be more streamlined, but the synergy must be broader; the apparatus may have fewer levels, but the activities must be closer to the people". This is the emphasis of General Secretary, President To Lam at the XI Congress of the VFF Committee.
