Nearly 1,390 billion VND registered to support people affected by storms and floods

According to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, as of November 19, nearly 1,390 billion VND has been registered to support people affected by storms and floods.

Continuing to respond to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, on November 19, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, received support from agencies, organizations, units and individuals to join hands to support people in the provinces to overcome the consequences of floods. Thus, up to this point, the amount of money and donations registered through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is more than 1,387.1 billion VND.

Accordingly, the music program "I! Vietnamese people" donated 5.3 billion VND; BRG Group staff and member companies donated 3 billion VND; Southeast Asia Bank donated 2 billion VND; Voice of Vietnam (VOV) donated 492.85 million VND.

Receiving the donation, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and people in flooded areas, Vice President - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha sent her sincere thanks for the noble hearts and gestures of agencies, organizations and individuals; at the same time, emphasizing that this amount of money is the sentiment, the timely encouragement and sharing to people in the provinces who are making efforts to overcome the consequences of floods.

According to Vice President - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, in recent days, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has received the attention of the whole society, the participation of many organizations and individuals and created a positive influence. Up to this point, the total amount of money and items registered through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is more than 1,387.1 billion VND. According to statistics, as of November 19, 2025, the entire Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels has mobilized over VND 2,600 billion to support people to overcome the consequences of overlapping storms and floods in recent times.

With the spirit of "receiving as much as possible, distributing as possible", Vice President - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha pledged that all donations will be allocated publicly and transparently by the Central Relief Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, promptly transferred to the beneficiaries, and quickly supported people to overcome the damage after storms and floods.

Accordingly, up to this point, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee has allocated 7 rounds with a budget of VND 598.182 billion through the accounts of the Relief Committees or the Fatherland Front Committees of 21 provinces and cities. Of which, Quang Tri province was allocated VND 50.5 billion; Thai Nguyen province VND 45.12 billion; Nghe An province VND 40.5 billion; Ha Tinh province VND 40.5 billion; Hue city VND 40 billion; Da Nang city VND 40 billion; Quang Ngai province VND 35 billion; Cao Bang province VND 35 billion; Tuyen Quang province VND 35 billion; Lang Son province VND 30.5 billion; Thanh Hoa province 25.5 billion; Ninh Binh province 25.5 billion VND; Lao Cai province 25 billion VND; Gia Lai province 25 billion VND; Bac Ninh province 20.062 billion VND; Dak Lak province 20 billion VND; Phu Tho province 20 billion VND; Son Son province 15 billion VND; La Phong province 10 billion VND; Dien Bien province 10 billion VND; Dien Bien province 10 billion VND.

On the same day, Mr. Vu Chi Hoa, Deputy Head of the Social Work Department - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, received support from Asia Food Technology Joint Stock Company in the amount of 500 million VND; Association of Vietnamese people and Association of Vietnamese people in Den Haag & surrounding areas, the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the amount of 82 million VND; HPT Korea in the amount of 1 million won.

Previously, Vietnam Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VietBank) donated 350.3 million VND; overseas Vietnamese in Vancuver Canada donated 188 million VND; AON Vietnam Co., Ltd. donated 130.6 million VND; Vietnamese Association in Odessa Ukraine donated 100 million VND; Petroleum Asset Management and Exploitation Joint Stock Company (PSA) donated 50 million VND; Sen Vang Phu Quoc Island folk art club, An Giang province donated 40 million VND; Moc Chau beef breeding joint stock company donated 50 million VND; Toyota IDMC Ho Duc Joint Stock Company donated 30 million VND; Nguyen Hong Co., Ltd. donated 20 million VND.
