On the occasion of the Sen Dolta festival of the Khmer people, on the afternoon of September 20, a working delegation of the An Giang Provincial Police led by Major General Nguyen Van Han - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police visited and presented gifts at Soai So pagoda (in Tri Ton commune) and Ca Nhung pagoda (in Dinh Hoa commune).
This is a festival to commemorate the ancestors, one of the three biggest holidays of the year for the Khmer people in the South in general and An Giang province in particular.

The delegation also included representatives of leaders of a number of professional departments of the Provincial Police; Police of Tri Ton and Dinh Hoa communes, An Giang province. The delegation was led by Venerable Chau Ty - Deputy abbot of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, abbot of Soai So Pagoda, Tri Ton Commune and Venerable Danh Dong - Chairman of the Provincial Association of Patriotic Monks and Monks - abbot of Ca Nhung Pagoda, Dinh Hoa Commune.
At each place visited, in a warm and joyful atmosphere, on behalf of the Board of Directors and officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police, Major General Nguyen Van Han kindly visited the health and life of the nobles, university visitors, cardamom, monks and Khmer people to enjoy the Sen Dolta festival in joy, warmth, safety and happiness.

The Director of the Provincial Police highly appreciated the contributions of dignitaries as well as Buddhists in ensuring security and order, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
On this occasion, Major General Nguyen Van Han also informed about some results of socio-economic development and the situation of political security and social order and safety in the province in recent times; especially after more than 2.5 months of arrangement, the 2-level local government model, the political security situation and social order and safety in the province have always been stable. At the same time, he expressed his hope that in the coming time, the relationship between dignitaries and the police force will become stronger; regularly propagate and mobilize Buddhists to well implement the policies and guidelines of the Party and the laws of the State, join hands with the police force to ensure security and order in the locality.

On behalf of the Khmer people, Venerable Chau Ty and Venerable Danh Dong thanked the attention of the Party and State, especially the members of the Provincial Police Department and the police force for the Khmer people in the past time, promising to continue promoting the spirit of national unity, strictly complying with legal regulations, living a good and beautiful life, contributing to joining hands with the Police to ensure security and order, building the homeland to become more and more beautiful.
On this occasion, Major General Nguyen Van Han also visited and encouraged officers and soldiers of Tri Ton Commune Police.
