The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has just organized a reception for a delegation of exemplary teachers and students of Nguyen Du Lao - Vietnam Bilingual School (Vientiane Capital, Laos) to visit.

On the occasion of the delegation visiting Vietnamese homeland in Da Nang city, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy praised teachers with outstanding achievements in teaching and research and exemplary students representing thousands of students of the school who returned to visit their homeland.

This trip is a meaningful journey for teachers and students to understand more deeply about the history, culture, and tradition of national construction and defense of the Vietnamese nation. These experiences will help students better understand the roots of the nation, about the great sacrifices of previous generations to gain independence, freedom and build a peaceful and developed Vietnam like today.

Over the past time, the Vietnamese community in Laos has a long history of attachment to both nations, always united, well complies with the laws of the host country, and has made many positive contributions to the development of Laos as well as the friendly relations between Vietnam and Laos.

Besides playing the role of a bridge between the people of the two countries, the Vietnamese community in Laos is also actively preserving Vietnamese, Vietnamese culture and transmitting love for the homeland and national pride to the younger generation.

In which, Nguyen Du Lao-Vietnamese Bilingual School has constantly strived to preserve and spread Vietnamese and Vietnamese culture in the Vietnamese community in Laos, and at the same time train many generations of students to become useful citizens for society.

Ms. Si Van Huong Phenh Kham May (Principal of Nguyen Du Lao-Vietnamese Bilingual School) said that throughout the process of construction and development, the school has always received the attention of leaders of the two Parties, two States, ministries, branches, localities and organizations of Vietnam and Laos.

That is a source of motivation for the collective of officials and teachers to constantly strive to improve the quality of education, build a friendly learning environment, helping students both fluent in Vietnamese and understand and appreciate the history and culture of both nations.

For the students, this return to their homeland is of special significance. They can personally learn about the history of national construction and defense of the Vietnamese nation, visit typical historical and cultural landmarks and feel their roots more clearly.

The school believes that these will be beautiful memories and valuable luggage for students to love Vietnamese more, love their homeland and be conscious of preserving and promoting the special friendly relationship between Vietnam and Laos.

2027 will mark many important events in the two countries' relations, including the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos and the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

This will be an opportunity for the younger generation to continue to inherit, preserve and promote the precious values of the special relationship between the two nations.
