At the ceremony, the working delegation performed the ceremony of handing over the CEP House to Mr. Nguyen Truong Son's household (residing in Vinh Thanh hamlet).
The house has a total value of materials of 60 million VND, of which the CEP Microfinance Organization supports 50 million VND, and the family contributes an additional 10 million VND. The transportation of materials and construction is supported by the local Fatherland Front mobilizing charities.
On behalf of the unit, Mr. Nguyen Van Toan - Director of CEP Microfinance Organization Long Xuyen branch - handed over the decision to hand over the CEP Roof and presented the new house gift to the family.
Speaking at the house handover ceremony, Mr. Toan wished that after having a solid house, the family would feel secure in working well to accumulate and gradually rise up to overcome difficulties...
On this occasion, representatives of local leaders also presented many newlywed gifts to the family.
According to local records, Mr. and Mrs. Son's family has 2 children but mainly lives on hired labor, so life is precarious, sometimes even short, and they are classified as difficult households by the local authorities. Therefore, although the house has deteriorated for many years, his family still does not have the conditions to repair it.
After grasping the family's circumstances and knowing that the locality had also included Mr. Son's household in the list of people needing support to build new houses, the CEP Microfinance Organization Long Xuyen branch proposed and was approved by the unit's leaders.
This is the 2nd CEP House to be supported by the CEP Microfinance Organization Long Xuyen branch in 2025.
