On May 18, the Military Command of Khanh Hoa province organized a coordination conference to deploy the task of supporting the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses for subjects who are children of resistance activists infected with chemical toxins in the province.
According to the decision of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the whole province has 48 cases of children of resistance war activists infected with chemical toxins receiving housing support.
In which, 31 cases are supported for new construction and 17 cases are supported for repair. The expected support level for newly built houses is 60 million VND/unit; repaired houses are 30 million VND/unit.

The funding is allocated by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front through the "For the Poor" Fund managed by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province.
According to the plan, for single-person households, the housing area after support is no less than 24m2; for households, the area is no less than 30m2 and the average usable area is at least 8m2/person.
Newly built houses must ensure the "3 hard" criteria, including hard foundations and foundations; hard frames and walls; hard roofs and have a minimum durability of 20 years.
Khanh Hoa province strives to complete the program to support the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses for subjects who have registered before July 25.
The Provincial Military Command is assigned to be the focal agency to monitor, guide, and urge the implementation; and at the same time coordinate with military units stationed in the area to participate in supporting labor days.
At the conference, the units agreed on coordination plans for implementation such as arranging support areas, assigning appropriate human resources, reviewing the actual number of beneficiaries and adjusting targets for each unit.
The Provincial Military Command also assigned specific tasks to agencies and units of the armed forces to participate in supporting construction in each locality; coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to mobilize forces, vehicles, and labor days to accelerate construction progress, ensuring the completion of the program according to the set plan.
