On July 9, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang province held a conference to announce the decisions of the Central and the province regarding the establishment of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Party Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and personnel work.
Attending the conference were Mr. Vu Hong Quang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee; Vu Dinh Quang - Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Trinh Truong Huy - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives of leaders of departments, branches, the Provincial Party Committee Office, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and secretaries of Party cells under the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee.
At the conference, provincial leaders presented the decision to establish the agency of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, consisting of 10 professional departments and 1 affiliated public service unit, effective from July 1.
At the same time, the conference also announced the decision to recognize the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the 2024 - 2029 term, consisting of 5 people, chaired by Mr. Vu Dinh Quang.
The Party Committees of the Provincial Party Agencies also announced the decision to establish the Party Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term with 12 cadres in the Executive Committee (cai tre), and establish 12 subordinate Party cells with 165 Party members.
The conference also announced the decision to assign tasks to comrades in the Standing Committee and appointed 3 department heads, 31 deputy department heads, professional departments and affiliated units.
In his speech, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Vu Hong Quang requested the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to soon stabilize the organization, complete working regulations, develop a work program for the last 6 months of the year, and ensure effective operation. He emphasized the need to urgently complete the material conditions, prepare well for the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term and elect National Assembly and People's Council delegates at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
Mr. Vu Hong Quang also noted that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province needs to increase the application of information technology, digital transformation, promote the role of supervision, social criticism, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people; innovate methods of operation, spread the value of solidarity and inspire the entire political system.
Each cadre and civil servant must be the core of the spirit of solidarity and exemplary in performing tasks, especially new and difficult tasks, contributing to the effective implementation of the province's key and breakthrough programs.
