On April 28, Party and State leaders organized a gift-giving ceremony for workers, laborers and policy families in difficult circumstances in Quang Phu commune, Dak Lak province.
Attending the gift-giving ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Agencies; Mr. Y Giang Gry Nie Knong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province; Ms. Ho Thi Nguyen Thao, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, and branches of the province.
The activity is organized to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026), the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2026) and in response to Workers' Month 2026.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi and delegates presented 80 gifts including cash and necessities to workers, laborers, and policy families in difficult circumstances in the area. Each gift is worth 2.5 million VND.
The gifts are not only material support but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping workers feel secure in their work, strive to overcome difficulties, and rise up in life; and at the same time create motivation for people to continue to actively contribute to the sustainable development of Dak Lak province's economy and society in the coming time.
