To celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026), on the morning of April 28, the delegation of the Party Central Committee, the President, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front laid wreaths, entered the Mausoleum to pay respects to President Ho Chi Minh and offered incense, commemorating heroic martyrs at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son Street.
Attending the memorial service were General Secretary and President To Lam; Politburo members: Prime Minister Le Minh Hung; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai.
Former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; former National Assembly Chairmen: Nguyen Sinh Hung, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; former Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; former Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong, along with Politburo members, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Vice President, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Deputy Prime Minister, Party and State leaders and leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, and mass organizations attended the memorial service.

Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation expressed infinite gratitude, respectfully remembering his great contributions to the revolutionary cause of our Party and nation. He dedicated his whole life to the people, to the country, leading our Party and people to achieve glorious victories.
The delegation's wreath bears the words: "Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh".
The history of the country will forever remember the moment at 11:30 am on April 30, 1975 when the revolutionary flag fluttered on the roof of the Independence Palace - marking the South's complete liberation, the Vietnamese country unified in one strip.
51 years after liberation, under the glorious revolutionary flag, the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army have unanimously overcome all hardships and challenges, step by step winning great victories in the process of building and developing the country.
Following that, the delegation of leaders and former leaders of the Party and State came to lay wreaths and offer incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Monument to the heroic martyrs on Bac Son Street.

Delegations of the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense; Central Public Security Party Committee - Ministry of Public Security; City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Hanoi City... came to lay wreaths and visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.
