On September 4, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, visited the Tan Son Nhat Ward Community Kitchen to give charity meals to people in difficult circumstances. Accompanying her was Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
The kitchen was established by the Women's Union of the ward, serving 100-150 free meals per day.

The Tan Son Nhat Ward Community kitchen was officially launched on September 3, operating with the motto "Love - Receive a smile". The purpose of the kitchen is to support free meals, ensure nutrition and food hygiene for people in difficult circumstances, freelance workers, students living far away from home and patients' relatives.
Mr. Le Hoang Ha, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Tan Son Nhat Ward, said that this model is the result of the attention and direction of the Party Committee, People's Committee of the ward, and the cooperation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, organizations and philanthropists.
Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, highly appreciated the Community kitchen, considering this a practical activity, contributing to promoting the strength of national solidarity.


Community kitchens not only meet daily meal needs, but are also a "red address" spreading the spirit of humanity, fostering the tradition of solidarity and affection of Ho Chi Minh City. On the first day, the meaningful meals were delivered to the people, creating a warm and sharing atmosphere.
The kitchen activities have the active participation of cadres, women's union members, youth union members and armed forces of Tan Son Nhat ward, demonstrating the spirit of " Military service with the people is like fish with water". This not only strengthens the relationship of solidarity between the army and the people but also beautifies the image of a dedicated militia and self-defense soldier, close to the people, serving the people.
