At the 4th meeting of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, held on the morning of July 9, giving comments on the focus orientation of the Front's work in 2026, Ms. Bui Thi Thanh - former Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said that in the current period, attention should be paid to the task of operating the apparatus of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels after the apparatus arrangement.
According to Ms. Bui Thi Thanh, currently, the units have basically been formed and operated smoothly, but we must pay attention and share the difficulties when cadres have to go from one locality to another to work (in places merged with the province).
Ms. Bui Thi Thanh suggested that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front pay attention to resolving difficulties and obstacles after reorganizing the Front system from the Central to local levels so that cadres are not concentrated and feel secure in their work.
Regarding the supervision of social criticism, Ms. Thanh suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front should strengthen supervision of legal documents and supervision of state agencies in the implementation of legal documents that directly affect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people. In particular, it is necessary to promote the Front's supervisory role in the arrangement of the apparatus, thereby making recommendations and proposals to the Party and the State to promptly adjust issues arising during the implementation process.
Contributing opinions at the Conference, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van De, Chairman of the Vietnam Private Hospital Association, highly appreciated the results of the work of reorganizing and merging the Front apparatus in the recent past. Mr. De said that the effective implementation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW on continuing to innovate and streamline the political system to operate effectively and efficiently has clearly demonstrated political determination and the spirit of openness and innovation.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van De said that from the beginning of implementation, there were certain concerns and concerns in the hearts of the people. However, up to now, it can be affirmed that the people are excited and in agreement. All activities of the Front system after the merger have quickly gone into order, in accordance with the orientation of the Party and State. This is a great success, demonstrating organizational capacity and social consensus.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van De believes that in order for the private business community, especially in the health sector, to feel secure in its development, it is necessary to continue to seriously and effectively implement Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on developing the Vietnamese business community in the new period; at the same time, it is recommended that member associations in the Front bloc should pay more attention to gathering, managing, supporting the business community, while promoting the consolidation of organization and effectively promoting the role of the association in the production and business sector.
In addition to the achieved results, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van De also frankly pointed out a number of remaining problems after the merger process, especially at the grassroots level. According to him, political and ideological education for cadres, especially State management cadres, still needs to be promoted.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van De emphasized the supervisory role of the Front and its member organizations as extremely important; at the same time, he suggested that associations should continue to perform well their supervisory functions, especially in areas prone to negative issues.
