During the 2 days of September 9-10, many localities in Lao Cai province, including Hop Thanh, Bat Xat, Si Ma Cai, Muong Bo communes and Sa Pa ward, simultaneously held conferences to commend advanced models, summarize the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025 and launch emulation for the period 2025-2030.
In Hop Thanh commune, the patriotic emulation movement has been implemented synchronously in recent times, associated with each specific task.
In the period of 2021 - 2025, the commune has had hundreds of collectives and individuals rewarded at the provincial, city and local levels. At this conference alone, the People's Committee of the commune awarded Certificates of Merit to 8 collectives and 29 individuals; the Commune Fatherland Front Committee commended 8 outstanding individuals.
At the same time, the commune leaders launched a new emulation movement, calling on all cadres, party members, armed forces, businesses and people to unite and compete to successfully complete development goals.
In Bat Xat commune, despite many difficulties, in the 2020 - 2025 term, the locality has achieved many outstanding results: average income per capita increased to more than 61 million VND, hundreds of households were supported to repair and renovate houses, over 8 billion VND was mobilized for social construction of new rural areas.
The conference rewarded 10 collectives and 21 individuals and launched emulation with the theme: "Solidarity - Creativity - Emulation to build innovative and strong Bat Xat commune".
Sa Pa ward has made its mark with many achievements in the following areas: economic growth of 13.8%/year, average income per capita of nearly 92 million VND, health insurance coverage rate of 96%.
On this occasion, 54 individuals received the Commemorative Medal "For the cause of building and developing Lao Cai province"; many collectives and individuals were awarded in the fields of education, health, culture - society.
In Muong Bo commune, an emulation movement is being implemented in conjunction with the development of agriculture - forestry, community tourism. The conference honored 52 typical collectives and individuals, of which 3 individuals were awarded the "For the cause of building and developing Lao Cai province" Medal.
Meanwhile, Si Ma Cai commune also achieved many remarkable results: average income per capita of 48 million VND, 100% of inter-commune and inter-village roads were hardened, the poverty rate decreased by an average of 6.38%/year.
The conference awarded Certificates of Merit to 15 collectives and 69 individuals and launched an emulation movement for the period 2025 - 2030.
The conferences became an opportunity to recognize, commend, and spread the spirit of patriotic emulation, creating motivation for cadres and people in the province to continue to unite, be creative, strive to overcome difficulties, and join hands to build Lao Cai to develop more and more.
