The conference was attended by Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions; representatives of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, the Vietnam Bar Federation and more than 100 Party members under the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Bar Association and the Vietnam Bar Federation Party Cell.
In his opening speech, Mr. Dao Ngoc Chuyen - Vice President of the Vietnam Bar Federation said that the conference was held to promote democracy, intelligence and responsibility of the team of lawyers and lawyers in perfecting the major orientations of the Party.
The conference focused on discussing and contributing enthusiastic, objective, scientific opinions and having practical bases for specific contents such as:
Drafted Political Report of the 13th Party Central Committee submitted to the 14th National Congress; Draft Action Program of the Party Central Committee to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Congress; Draft Report summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented innovation in the past 40 years in Vietnam and Draft Report summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011-2025) and proposing and orienting the addition and amendment of the Party Charter.
According to Mr. Dao Ngoc Chuyen, this is not only a political responsibility but also an opportunity to demonstrate the bravery, intelligence and practical experience of lawyers and lawyers in contributing profound opinions to the construction of a socialist rule-of-law state, judicial reform and improvement of the legal system.

Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc also suggested a number of key groups of issues that need to be focused on giving comments:

Second, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the position and role of the team of lawyers and legal minds not only in their professional fields but also as members of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations.
Third, focus on building and perfecting institutions in the socialist rule of law state.
Fourth, discuss in depth on promoting democracy and protecting human rights and civil rights - a core content of the rule of law state.
With a sense of responsibility, democracy, science and construction, the conference to collect comments on draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress is expected to achieve many practical results, making an important contribution to the completion of documents, creating high consensus in society before the 14th National Congress of the Party.
