Strengthening the nature of the working class of the Party
Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Dinh Bon - former Secretary of the Central Theoretical Council - especially emphasized that to enhance the nature of the working class (GCCN) of the Party, the important issue to be solved is to build a modern and strong GCCN of Vietnam. Analyzing this content, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Dinh Bon provided a basis to propose adding the issue of " Maintaining and enhancing the nature of the Party's GCCN" to the Draft Documents submitted to the 14th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Accordingly, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Dinh Bon quoted President Ho Chi Minh as saying: To victory, the revolution must be led by the GCCN. Because it is the most advanced, enlightened, determined, disciplined and tightest organized class. And the Unemployed Party is the advisory body of the GCCN to clearly state, President Ho Chi Minh and the Communist Party of Vietnam always identify the top priority as maintaining and enhancing the nature of the GCCN of the Party.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Dinh Bon, for our Party, affirming the nature of the Party's GCCN and strengthening that nature is especially important. This affirmation is very necessary to distinguish between the GCCN stance and the salary-less property stance and the sub-prestice stance.
One of the directions to enhance the GCCN nature of the Communist Party of Vietnam, according to Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Dinh Bon, is to thoroughly grasp and successfully implement the Resolution of the Central Committee of the 10th tenure on continuing to build a modern and strong GCCN in Vietnam during the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country; regularly educate and foster GCCN stance and viewpoints for cadres and party members; building a team of cadres and party members is truly a victory of the people.
Speaking at the conference, Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Duong - Chairman of the Advisory Council on Democracy and Law, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - said that the Draft Document of the 14th National Party Congress strongly raised the requirement to "Continuing to innovate development thinking", overcoming outdated and no longer suitable old thinking in new conditions; building a new development thinking shifting from command management, authority to creative development thinking based on new driving forces such as breakthroughs in scientific research, technology, innovation, national digital transformation.

From the reality of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh - Vice President of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Trade Union - shared her opinion on "New thinking on sustainable social development management; ensuring progress, social justice, caring for people's lives" mentioned in the Draft Document of the 14th National Party Congress and comments on revisions, supplements, and proposals to expand and improve the effectiveness of the work of caring for union members and workers of the Trade Union organization in the coming time.
According to Ms. Minh, the document has concretized our Party's vision on modern social development governance, towards a society in which all people have access to and enjoy basic, essential, and quality social services; at the same time, encouraging creative models in sustainable community development governance.
With the reality of caring for and representing more than 95,000 workers, of which over 80,000 people work in the coal production sector and about 30,000 workers directly work in the mines of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Trade Union, the Vice President of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Trade Union proposed that in the section on "Sustainable Social Development Management" it is necessary to more clearly emphasize the role of the GCCN and the Trade Union organization in modern social governance. The trade union is not only an organization that cares for and protects the rights of employees but also a subject accompanying the State and businesses in building fair social development policies.
Also from practice and research, Dr. Pham Thu Lan - former Deputy Director of the Trade Union Workers' Institute - raised the issue of minimum wages and expressed her wish that the minimum wage enough to live on would be included in the Document for implementation, reducing difficulties for union members and workers...
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - emphasized that this is an important event, a political forum to promote the intelligence of cadres and union members, demonstrating the responsibility of cadres, union members and workers for the work of Party building.
According to Vice Chairman Ngo Duy Hieu, all opinions highly appreciate the content of the Draft Document, clearly demonstrating the great significance of the law but still having specific contents. The conference also received contributions from production practices, including issues directly related to employees, the role of GCCN...
