With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress demonstrated its determination to successfully carry out the tasks set out in the 2025 - 2030 term, practically celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (1930 - 2030), contributing to the successful implementation of the country's development goals by 2030 when our Party celebrates its 100th anniversary.
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Do Van Chien highly appreciated the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union for thoroughly grasping Directive 45 of the Politburo, the direction of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Party Committee at higher levels to seriously and carefully prepare the political report, the review report of the Executive Committee and the personnel plan to submit to the Congress;
At the same time, they expressed their agreement and high consensus with the contents of the report submitted to the Congress and mentioned some outstanding features that the Party Committee of the Association has achieved in the 2020-2025 term.
According to comrade Do Van Chien, the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union has closely followed the political guidelines, regulations and regulations of the Party, comprehensively led political and ideological work, organized mass mobilization inspections, promoted the role and responsibility of Party committees and heads of Party committees, strongly promoted the exemplary and exemplary nature of each cadre and Party member.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Central organizations, Chairman Do Van Chien also acknowledged and highly appreciated the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union for closely following the direction of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, headed by General Secretary To Lam, doing a good job of political and ideological work, actively propagating, mobilizing, and persuading cadres, party members, and women's associations, creating high consensus to successfully carry out the revolution of streamlining the apparatus, organizing local governments at 2 levels, arranging socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State to be directly under the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
It can be affirmed that in the past term, the Party Committee's Party building work has achieved important and comprehensive results in all aspects of politics, ideology, organization, inspection, and mass mobilization, especially in leading the implementation of political tasks well, encouraging cadres, party members, and women's union members nationwide to promote the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women, contributing worthy of their efforts to the common achievements of the Party and the country - Chairman Do Van Chien emphasized.
Affirming that this Congress has special historical significance, is an important milestone to join the country in entering a new era, building a developed country, strong, prosperous, civilized, happy, bringing a prosperous life to the people, is the first Congress when operating under the Vietnam Fatherland Front, under the comprehensive leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations, Chairman Do Van Chien suggested that in the new term, the Party Executive Committee should urgently study and seriously implement the Resolution of the Congress.
Referring to the number of members of the Vietnam Women's Union, accounting for 50% of the country's population, Chairman Do Van Chien said that the Party Committee needs to propose solutions to promote the glorious tradition of heroism, indomitable, loyalness, and courage so that each woman can continue to contribute her efforts with the entire Party, people, and army to strive to achieve the goal of by 2030, our country will become a modern, high-middle-income, and by 2045, a modern, high-income industrial country.
Recalling the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the Conference to announce the Decision to establish the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front: "The new apparatus must have a new mindset, new way of doing things, new efficiency. If the new apparatus still has the old thinking and old methods of doing things, it will not work," Chairman Do Van Chien emphasized. With the new apparatus, with the new position, each Party member needs to have strategic solutions in consulting work, having to face social reality such as: What does women contribute to maintaining family bonds? The rate of childbirth is gradually decreasing, the population is aging, how can women maintain and contribute to this content? What should be done to maintain gender equality and care for children in general, especially girls in border areas and islands?...
Chairman Do Van Chien also suggested that the Congress should focus on discussing solutions to improve the quality of Party cell activities in the spirit of Directive 50-CT/TW dated July 23, 2025 of the Secretariat on continuing to innovate and improve the quality of Party cell activities in the new period, identifying Party cell activities as political orders, tightening discipline, democracy and responsibility, periodic activities, and innovating thematic activities.
Immediately after the Congress, Party cells and Party committees must really attach importance to Party cell activities, and substantially improve the fight against self-criticism and criticism in Party activities. All cadres and party members must strive to practice, strive, maintain solidarity, unity, and strictly comply with the Party's disciplined principles. This is one of the principles and requirements that are very high, Chairman Do Van Chien suggested and said that, in addition to leading and implementing the political tasks of the central agencies and units of the Association, the Party Committee needs to do a good job of advising and leading the political tasks of the Association at all levels, creating unity in implementation from the central to the grassroots level...
Chairman Do Van Chien believes that the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union will promote the glorious tradition, build a clean and strong Party organization. Each cadre and Party member upholds the spirit of self-study, improves qualifications in all aspects, innovates thinking and working methods, leads to build the Central Committee of the Association and the Association at all levels to be increasingly strong, gathers and encourages Vietnamese women to be unanimous, join hands with the entire Party, people and army to realize the aspiration to build a peaceful, independent, unified, democratic and prosperous Vietnam as the wish of beloved Uncle Ho.
