The Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ben Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City transforms digitally in social security work

HCMC - Digital transformation in social security work, supporting traders to develop business... is being promoted by Ben Thanh ward, HCMC.

Responding to digital transformation in social security activities, the Women's Union of Ben Thanh Ward coordinated with Santa Joint Stock Company to implement a digital transformation program in social security activities called "Social Security closet".

This is one of the activities responding to the peak emulation period to welcome the Ben Thanh Ward Party Congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and the first socio-political organizations of Ben Thanh Ward, term 2025 - 2030 of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ben Thanh Ward.

Speaking with Lao Dong, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Thanh Ward and Chairwoman of the Women's Union of the Ward said that currently, Santa has agreed to provide a smart cabinet system for delivery and receipt of orders at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Thanh Ward (address 32 Pho Duc Chinh).

This approach solves the needs of giveers and recipients in many different localities who wish to give gifts concentrated at one point. The volunteers will transport charity goods from the Santa cabinet systems to the cabinet system located in the ward.

The Women's Union of the ward will send a petition, with the content of the pilot support being necessities from those who want to donate to people in difficult circumstances who need to receive them, the content is divided into different times, suitable for the needs of the campaign.

All care activities will be carried out and reported publicly and transparently through the Ben Thanh Women Fanpage. Santa Joint Stock Company shares the link on the app so that the givers know the results.

In the immediate future, the "Social Security cabinet" program will be piloted from August to December 2025. After that, the parties will conduct a preliminary review, learn from experience and propose better implementation solutions in the next phase.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung said: The Social Security Department program will not be limited to social charity activities but will further aim at strong digital transformation to mobilize many support resources, creating conditions for traders to do business on social networking platforms, helping families in difficult circumstances create livelihoods for them.

In the next phase of the program, the Ben Thanh Ward Fatherland Front will coordinate with partners to plan to deploy digital transformation of traditional markets, connect to introduce OCOP products, handmade products; support small traders in business development, financial management, access and sales for Santa cabinet users through the SantaMarket feature.

Through the partner's Charity-Market feature, the ward also plans to transform into social security digital transformation and support small traders in sales, accompanying humanitarian activities.

Solutions to protect the environment and the circular economy, reduce waste released into the environment and regenerate product life cycles, through the SantaShare feature will also be implemented in the coming time.

In particular, through digital transformation, the Women's Union of Ben Thanh Ward will create income for female members, through the SantaPudo feature. Accordingly, female traders receive 100% of their income from delivery orders and are supported by Santa in the management process.

The direct beneficiaries of this digital transformation program will be female members with low incomes, poor households, near-poor households, disadvantaged people, lonely elderly people, children, students... with difficult circumstances in the ward.

In addition, members and traders at traditional markets in Ben Thanh Ward who need digital transformation in business and trading activities will also benefit from this program.
